Set in 45 acres amid the Surrey Hills, St Teresa's is 40 minutes drive from Gatwick and Heathrow Airports and within one hour of London.
Entrance to the Senior School is at 11 from our own Preparatory School and many other feeder schools but consideration is also given to girls joining at 12+ and 13+. Our pupils are given an academically challenging curriculum that allows them to develop to the full. 20 GCSE subjects are on offer and most girls choose on average 10 subjects. The very latest in Information Technology is in operation throughout the school. Academic, Art and Music Scholarships are awarded at 11+, 12+ , 13+ and Sixth Form.
Sixth Formers live and work in a purpose-built centre and study towards University entrance and there is an Oxbridge group. Careers guidance is an integral part of school life and there is an impressive interaction with the world of work. Each student in Lower Sixth is offered work experience and participation in the Young Enterprise Scheme is encouraged. 21 'A' Levels are offered and virtually all students proceed to University.
Whilst academic achievement is vitally important and examination results are outstanding, extra-curricular activities are also part of a successful girls' school. Public Speaking, Music, Drama, Sport and Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme form an essential part of life at St Teresa's and our achievements both locally and nationally are well documented.
Full and weekly boarding at St Teresa's offers first class facilities. Interesting activities are planned each weekend for the boarders and built into the system is the flexibility that girls may leave at any time during the weekend.
